Adult Discipleship Hour

Adult Discipleship Hour meets Sundays at 9 a.m. with the goal of providing biblical instruction, caring Christian fellowship, and resources to promote spiritual growth. Each program is purposefully delivered to show the relevance of the Word of God real life experiences.

Base Discipleship - Overview

Base Discipleship is our progressive discipleship series offered at various times throughout the year during the adult discipleship hour. Bases 1 and 2 of this 4-part series are currently available with “Base 3: Servants—Discovering My Ministry” and “Base 4: Equip—” and “Base 4: Equipping Others” available in the future.

Base Discipleship - Base 1

Base 1: “Building—If You Want to Know” is the first in our discipleship series designed to take each participant into the Word of God on an exploration of the basic truths and foundational doctrines of scripture.

This class is also a prerequisite for those interested in church membership.

In this 11-week study* we will examine basic Bible doctrine, church history, a study of baptism, and the practices of the believer. We will address questions like:

• What is life about?
• What does God expect from me?
• What is baptism all about?
• How is life different in Christ?
• Why all these different churches?
• What does it mean to be a “Baptist” anyway?
• What can I know about life after death?

Base Discipleship - Base 2

Base 2: “Able—If You Want to Grow” is one of our newer adult discipleship classes designed for believers who desire to discover God’s plan for how their spiritual life can really begin to grow and discover their God-given abilities.
