Here it is - the page that gets the most “hits” on a church website…right next to the “What We Believe” page. “The Pastor’s Page” is usually located under the “Our Staff” tab on the website. And for good reason; those in search of a church often come to this page knowing that getting a glimpse of the pastor may give them a feel for what a church is all about. They want to know things like:

• What’s his name?
• Where was he educated?
• What is his theology?
• Does he have a family?
• How old is he?
• What is his preaching or teaching style like? Can I listen to any of his sermons?
• What’s his “vision” for the church?

Right now we can’t answer any of those questions about our senior pastor, because we don’t know who he is . . . yet.

What we can tell you is that God has been faithful to Memorial Baptist Church for over 155 years, and we’re confident that He has already chosen the man who will continue to provide the pastoral leadership that our congregation needs.

While our “pastoral search” has only begun, we can confidently assure those in search of a church that God has equipped Memorial Baptist Church with all that it needs for this season of time while we prayerfully await God’s leading. Though we may be without a senior pastor, we are not without godly leadership, able teachers, and gifted servants able to guide us in continuing our mission -

Who Serve in the Church
And Proclaim the Truth of God
So that all People will love and glorify Him.
